PURPOSE: A composition for preparing polyurethane is provided to suppress the generation of poisonous gas and harmful chemical substance and to rapidly treat harmful chemical substance and poisonous gas by porous loess. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preparing polyurethane with excellent smoke inhibition property and flame retardant characteristic is obtained by: mixing polyol 25~45 weight%, loess 5~30 weight%, inorganic flame retardant liquid 3~20 weight% at a room temperature; or mixing polyol 25~45 weight%, expanded graphite 5~30 weight% and inorganic flame retardant liquid 3~20 weight% at a room temperature; or polyol 25~45 weight%, loess 2.5~15 weight%, expanded graphite 2.5~15 weight% and inorganic flame retardant liquid 3~20 weight% at a room temperature.
