PURPOSE: A composition containing Morus bombycis extract with an anti-allergic effect is provided to suppress allergen secretion and TNF-alpha and IL-4. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating allergic diseases contains Morus bombycis water extract as an active ingredient. The allergic diseases are allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, atopic asthma, allergy desmatitis, and allergic urticaria. A pharmaceutical composition contains Morus bombycis contains Morus bombycis organic solvent extract as an active ingredient. The organic solvent is methanol, ethanol, propanol, or butanol. A method for preparing the composition comprises: a step of heating Morus bombycis in hot water, and a step of filtering and concentrating the extract.
