PURPOSE: A tip-in shock control method is provided to reduce the generation of a tip-in shock by reducing the amount of a slip within a setting value by executing the duty control process of a damper clutch. CONSTITUTION: It is determined whether the driving information of an automatic transmission vehicle is in a coasting state(S10). The slip amount of an engine rotation number and the number of a turbine are determined whether it exceeds a setting value. When the amount of slip exceeds the setting value, the duty control process of a damper clutch is turned on(S22). In a coasting state, a tip-in is generated or the amount of slip is less than the setting value, the duty control process is turned off(S24). The driving information of a vehicle includes a transmission terminal, a vehicle speed, an engine revolution times, a turbine revolution times, and the location of an acceleration pedal.
