PURPOSE: A mail attachment file conversion device and a mail attachment file conversion method are provided to supply a convenient GUI for a file to an e-mail receiver, thereby enabling an e-mail receiver to easily and rapidly use a huge capacity of image information. CONSTITUTION: An input/output interface(110) performs a mail writing browser and transceives data. The input/output interface transmits the attached files to a controller(130) after receiving a plurality of attachment files having different extensions from the mail writing browser. The controller controls the input/output interface for inputting a plurality of attachment files. The controller stores the converted files to a storage unit(150) after generating a plurality of converted files.
