PURPOSE:To provide the subject antihyperlipidemia agent containing a bis(aminothiocarbonyl)disulfide compound as the active component. CONSTITUTION:A compound of formula I (X is methine or N) is used as the active component and a pharmacologically allowable additive is suitably blended therewith and subjected to preparation by the conventional method, thus obtaining the objective agent. The resultant agent is capable of preparation into dosage forms such as tablet, capsule, powder, granule, electuary, sterilized solution, suspension and syrup. The amount thereof administrated is 1-25mg/kg per day for an adult and the administration is carried out in 1-3 times. The compound of formula I is synthesized by dissolving a cyclic amine of formula II in a solvent such as methanol, adding caustic soda thereto in a form of an aqueous solution, then adding carbon disulfide thereto dropwise under ice-water cooling and oxidizing the resultant sodium dithiocarbamate of formula III using an oxidizing agent, etc. |
