PURPOSE: A hair iron using a near infrared ray lamp is provided, which generates energy profitable to hair and the head skin health. CONSTITUTION: A hair iron using a near infrared ray lamp comprises: an axle shaft which is pivotally connected; a case(100) equipped with a repellent elastically supporting first and second pieces; a heater(200) arranged and fixed in a hair contact part of one selected from the first piece or second piece; and a controller(300) which controls the drive of the heater and is loaded in the case. The heater includes: a coil emitting near infrared ray; a protection pipe surrounding the coil; a near infrared ray lamp equipped with a pair of electrode terminals; and first and second terminals electrically connected to an electrode terminal.
