PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an encapsulated granular substance since capsules of medicine, functional food, health food, etc., can not be instantly tasted without being crush with the teeth and physically destroyed or being dissolved in the case of gulping down and are liable to be mutually adhered with time. SOLUTION: This encaspulated granular substance comprises a crystalline precipitate exposed at least partially to the external surface of a covering body. The covering body of the substance may be of container shape or film shape. A solution of a crystalline water-soluble substance such as a covering body forming material (e.g. soft capsule forming material) in which xylitol is dissolved is solidified and dried preferably in a low-temperature low-humidity atmosphere to expose the precipitate derived from the crystalline water-soluble substance at least partially to the external surface of the covering body. |
