PURPOSE: A supplemental feeder for welding and a welding machine having the same are provided to uniformly spread a fixed amount of filler in a welded portion and thereby prevent a welding failure. CONSTITUTION: A supplemental feeder for welding comprises a storage unit(10) for storing a filler(S), a feeding unit(20) which moves along a welded portion of a base material and spreads the filler of the storage unit on the welded portion, a position control unit(30) which transfers the feeding unit in the horizontal and vertical direction in order to control the position of the feeding unit relative to the base material, and an opening/closing unit(40) which selectively opens or closes the filler supply path of the feeding unit.
