PURPOSE: A parking auxiliary device using a method of sensing a light strip, a sensing method of a light stripe, and a method for sensing a target location are provided to sense a parking target location by properly sensing a light stripe of a light surface projection which radiates from a car in an indoor navigation such as automatic parking in a basement parking lot. CONSTITUTION: A parking auxiliary device(1920) helps parking a car by using active steering device(1930) and an electronic control operating device(1940) after sensing an obstacle as sensing a light stripe from an input image through a camera(1910). A parking auxiliary device senses a light strip by obtaining a sensed result, an image, and an intensity histogram. The image is obtained by projecting a light plane by using light plane projector. The intensity histogram is obtained about a difference image.
