PURPOSE: A washing machine and a controlling method thereof are provided to reduce the noises and vibration caused by unbalance by automatically controlling a movable balancer according to a spot occurrence spot. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine includes a cabinet, a tub, a drum, plural balancers(100) and a control unit. The cabinet forms an exterior shape of the washing machine, and a tub is installed inside the cabinet and accepts washing water. The drum is installed inside the tub and allows the rotation thereof. The drum receives laundry, and plural balancer is installed at the drum and allows the movement thereof. The balancer solves the eccentric unbalance caused by the laundry, and is operated by self-power generation. The control unit controls the rotating speeds of the balancer and the drum. |
