PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a spring cap of a damper is provided to improve the dimension precision and reduce defects of products by forming a secondary hole in the center of a disk after trimming the circumference of a semi-product. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a spring cap of a damper is as follows. A steel plate is blanked to form a disk(10). The central portion of the disk is projected to form a convex part through forging. The central portion of the convex part is pierced to form a primary hole. The convex part of the disk is forged from the top so that a concave part is formed in the convex part. A groove is formed on the bottom circumference of the concave part through forging so that a semi-product is obtained. The central portion of the convex part is pierced to form a secondary hole larger than the primary hole.
