PURPOSE: A hair ornament and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, which reduce weight of a hair ornament and production cost. CONSTITUTION: A hair ornament comprises: a cubic main body in which an empty space is formed; a penetration hole(128) formed in one side of the main body; and a hair band(132) which is inserted into the penetration hole. A wearer can put the hair ornament on hair through the hair band. The empty space inside the main body is formed by combining each tetragonal side(122) of a regular hexahedron.
