PURPOSE: A diabetes prevention functional beverage is provided to produce the beverage using extracts obtained from natural materials, and to cure and prevent diabetes by easily drinking the beverage. CONSTITUTION: A diabetes prevention functional beverage contains 5~15wt% of phyllostachys nigra munro extract, 5~15wt% of mugwort extract, 5~15wt% of aralia elata seemann extract, 5~15wt% of bamboo salt, 5~15wt% of pinus densiflora extract, 5~15wt% of commelina communis extract, 5~15wt% of opuntia ficus indica extract, 5~15wt% of morus tiliaefora extract, 5~15wt% of cinnamon extract, 5~15wt% of potato extract, 2~10wt% of lettuce extract, 2~10wt% of gelidium amansii extract, 2~10wt% of persimmon tree leaf extract, 2~10wt% of opium-poppy extract, 2~10wt% of licorice extract, and 2~10wt% of assam extract.
