<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the appearance of building members as well as to increase an artistic design value in decorative members made of synthetic resin for a building, which covers the surface of a building member such as a handrail. CONSTITUTION:A surface layer 4 made of transparent synthetic resin integrally covers the surface of an inner layer 3 made of colored and opaque synthetic resin. Metallic pigments 5 and pearl pigments 5a are added in the surface layer 4 while being oriented. The metallic pigments 5 act as flat tips which is covered with a transparent synthetic layer having corrosion resistance and affinity with the surface layer over the metallic layer surface, and the pearl pigments 5a act as minute flat tips in which the surface of mica is covered with titanium oxides, so that respective flat surfaces are thereby made transparent. The single substance of each metallic pigment 5 shall be 100 to 500mum in size, and the quantity of addition shall concurrently be 0.1 to 0.5 part by weight. And the carrier of each pearl pigment 5a shall be roughly 1/10 of each metallic pigment 5 in size, and the quantity of addition shall concurrently be 0.01 to 0.03 part by weight. By this constitution, stereographic and soft feeling on the basis of the color of the inner layer can be provided because there mixedly exist light reflected from the inner layer, light reflected from the metallic pigments and light reflected from the pearl pigments.</p> |
