PURPOSE: A vegetation mat for aquatic plants is provided to produce the vegetation mat with a novel material with the excellent filtration function capable of reducing the environmental contamination. CONSTITUTION: A vegetation mat for aquatic plants comprises the following: a seed and vegetation layer(30) includes a mesh-type surface body(10) formed with a biodegradable polymer fiber yarn, and a mesh-type surface body interior surrounded by the surface body; a porous inorganic absorption material filling the mesh-type surface body; a filter layer(40) filled with a porous filter material; and a partition unit(20) dividing the inside of the mesh-type surface body into the seed and vegetation layer and the filter layer.
