METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DECODING IMAGE BASED ON SKIP MODE

PURPOSE: A method and a device for decoding an image based on a skip mode are provided to easily decode the same block as a previously decoded block using a pixel value of the previously decoded block. CONSTITUTION: A skip mode decoding unit sets pixel values(1322) about color component#1 among pixel values of a current block equal to pixel values(1312) of color component#1 of a previously decoded block. The decoding unit sets pixel values(1324) about color component#2 among the pixel values of the current block equal to pixel values(1314) of color component#2 of the previously decoded block. The decoding unit sets pixel values(1326) about color component#3 among the pixel values of the current block equal to pixel values(1316) of color component#3 of a previously decoded block.
