METHOD FOR ALLOCATING IP ADDRESS TO MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for allocating an IP address to a mobile communication terminal is provided to prevent unnecessary ICMP messages for validity update of a router when a terminal transceives data with a network based on IPv6. CONSTITUTION: An MME(Mobility Management Entity)(300) registers a current position of a terminal(100). An HSS(Home Subscriber Server)(500) transfers an update location acknowledgement message to the MME. The MME generates a basic bearer by a PDN(Packet Data Network) GW(Gateway)(400) and an S-GW(Serving Gateway). The MME obtains IID(Interface ID) from the address of IPv6. The MME transmits an attach accept message to the terminal. The terminal checks an activate default EPS bearer context request message in the attach accept message. The terminal generates an IPv6 address of 128 bits.
