<p>PURPOSE: A refrigerator accurately can control the amount of water provided to an ice maker and a control method thereof are provided to smoothly make ices by maintaining the fixed pressure and amount of water supplied to the ice maker. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator accurately comprises an icing maker, a dispenser, a flow control valve(33), a flow sensor(100), and a controller. The flow control valve selectively guides water to the ice maker and the dispenser. The flow sensor senses the flow rate of water. The controller is connected with the flow sensor and controls the amount of the water, provided to the ice maker, in consideration of the flow rate detected by the flow sensor.</p> |
