发明名称 THE METHOD FOR PREPARING OF AL-MG-MN ALLOY STRIP USING TWIN ROLL CAST AND AL-MG-MN ALLOY STRIP
摘要 PURPOSE: An Al-Mg-Mn alloy strip, and a method for manufacturing the Al-Mg-Mn alloy strip using a twin-roll casting technique are provided to enhance yield strength, maximum tension strength and elongation to form a finer structure than an existing ingot casting strip. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing the Al-Mg-Mn alloy strip using a twin-roll casting technique comprises next steps. Al-Mn master alloy is manufactured by the mixing of Al ingot with Mn element. The manufactured Al-Mn master alloy is mixed with molten Mg. The mixed material is filled in a metal mold to manufacture Mg-Al-Mn alloy ingot. The manufactured Mg-Al-Mn alloy molten-metal is changed to the Mg-Al-Mn alloy strip using a twin-roll casting technique. After the molten Mg is added to the master alloy, it is maintained at a temperature of 700~800°C for 20~40 minutes.
