PURPOSE: A method for measuring channel quality information of a downlink multi carrier in a wireless communication system using carrier aggregation is provided to effectively perform cell reselection and handover by measuring channel quality about a serving cell and an adjacent cell. CONSTITUTION: When a channel quality value(S) of a serving cell is larger than Scomponent_carrier, a terminal measures channel quality only for a currently allocated CC(Component Carrier)(S810,S820). When the channel quality value is larger than Sintrasearch, the terminal measures channel quality only for a currently not allocated CC(S830,S840). When the channel quality value is smaller than Snonintrasearch, the terminal measures channel quality for an Inter-frequency/RAT(Radio Access Technology) adjacent cell of the same or lower priority(S850,S870). |
