<p>PURPOSE: A wire for helix reinforcing concrete with a superior intensity and ductility and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve yield strength and tensile strength without adding the high price member like Ni AND Cr. CONSTITUTION: A wire for helix reinforcing concrete comprises C 0.35~0.65 weight%, Si 0.10~0.35 weight%, Mn 0.60~0.90 weight%, P less than 0.030 weight%, S less than 0.035 weight%, the remainder composed of Fe and impurities. The wire for helix reinforcing concrete comprises a micro-structure consisting of ferrite and pearlite. The average particle diameter of ferrite is 15~25μm. The yield strength of the wire is 400MPa or greater. The tensile strength of the wire is 700MPa or greater.</p> |
