PURPOSE: A spacer grid for a fuel rod is provided to reduce fretting wear damage to the fuel rod by minimizing the relative movement between a fuel rod and an inner grid plate. CONSTITUTION: A first inner grid plate(10) comprises an elastic support plate(30) and an impact support plate(40). An elastic support plate elastically supports a fuel rod(60) which is inserted into a spacer grid(1). A dimple with supports the fuel rod is alternatively formed on the impact support plate. A plurality of second inner grid plates(20) are orthogonally combined with the first inner grid plate. An outer grid plate(50) covers the first inner grid plate and the second inner grid plate.
