PURPOSE: A device for displaying overlapped areas between adjacent aerial photos is provided to enable the automatic production of overlapped lines between each photo image. CONSTITUTION: A device for displaying overlapped areas between adjacent aerial photos comprises a digital image processing unit(213), a barycentric coordinate output unit(215), an area coordinate output unit(217), a database(219), a computer(201), and a display unit(211). The digital image processing unit processes photo information recorded from a digital camera. The barycentric coordinate output unit produces the coordinates of an digital aerial photo provided from the digital image processing unit. The area coordinate output unit produces a coordinate corresponding to each vertex of the rectangular facet. The database registers and saves digital aerial photo and position-related information of aircrafts. The computer provides overlapped lines on the digital aerial photo as graphic information. The display unit displays and outputs the digital aerial photo and the overlapped lines.
