PURPOSE: A power management device is provided to remotely control a power state using a PLC(Power Line Communication) control unit. CONSTITUTION: A PLC(Power Line Communication) control unit(6) communicates with a power saving unit(3). The PLC control unit controls a power source of an electrical appliance. The power saving unit supplies common AC(Alternating Current) power source to household. The power saving unit outputs the control command to the PLC control unit through a power line. The power saving unit receives sensing information of a sensor(7) in wireless communication method. The power saver unit checks power consumption in real-time. The power saving unit indicates the power consumption amount through a display unit. |
