In vitro diagnostic process of toxoplasmosis comprises: separating plasma blood cells from a whole blood sample to be tested for the diagnosis of toxoplasmosis; recollecting the blood cells in the culture medium; adding toxoplasma antigens to stimulate the cellular response; and detecting the presence or measuring the amount of at least one immune effector molecule produced by blood cells after stimulation with toxoplasma antigens. An independent claim is included for diagnostic kit of toxoplasmosis comprising: instructions for implementing the method; toxoplasma antigen for the stimulation of blood cells obtained after separation of plasma from a whole blood sample; optionally culture medium for resuspending blood cells; and optionally tools for measuring the production of at least one immune effector molecule.
