The energy conversion device has an energy conversion component (11) for conversion of pressure energy into mechanical kinetic energy, particularly a pressure cylinder with a working piston. Another energy conversion component (3) is provided for conversion of mechanical kinetic energy into electrical energy, particularly a linear generator. An inlet-valve arrangement (5) and an outlet-valve arrangement (6) are equipped in the energy conversion device.
