<p>The device has an exercise platform (2), which is driven by an exercising person and is formed as a rigid plate. The exercise platform is supported on a base plate (1) or on a floor (3) by a spring (6) e.g. spiral spring, rubber spring, sheet spring or gas-filled cushion. The spring is provided below the exercise platform. The exercise platform is supported such that movements of knee of the person in vertical and horizontal directions (4, 5) are enabled.
