A heat transfer electronic radio frequency identification (RFID) tag comprises a substrate (1), a hot melt adhesive powder layer (2) and a RFID tag (3). The hot melt adhesive powder layer (2) adheres to the substrate (1). The RFID tag (3) adheres to the hot melt adhesive powder layer (2) by a hot melt adhesive glue layer (4). A protective coating ink layer (5) is provided on the RFID tag (3).
