<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a wind turbine, orientated to the optimal direction according to wind conditions, and also to provide the wind turbine. <P>SOLUTION: The wind turbine is equipped with: the rotor 20 having a plurality of radial blades 30, and ring-shaped aerofoil diffusers 21 which connect outer edge parts of these blades; and a nacelle 41, and a mounting means 40 which allows rotation of the rotor around a directional axis 42 orthogonal to a rotation axis 26.
