摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide recovery system and method, in which a liquid carbon dioxide absorbent can be regenerated without fail even when an operation load of a boiler or a steam turbine fluctuates. <P>SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide recovery system includes: a high-pressure turbine; a medium-pressure turbine; a low-pressure turbine; the boiler 15 for generating steam for driving the turbines; a carbon dioxide recovery unit comprising an absorption column 18 for removing carbon dioxide from the liquid carbon dioxide absorbent, in which carbon dioxide in the combustion flue gas 16 discharged from the boiler is absorbed, and a regeneration column 19 for regenerating the liquid absorbent; a first auxiliary turbine 22L for withdrawing steam 14L from an inlet of the low-pressure turbine 13 and recovering power by using the withdrawn steam 14L; a first steam supply line 25L for supplying the discharged steam 23L from the first auxiliary turbine to a reboiler 24 of the regeneration column as a heat source; and a controller for controlling the drive of the first auxiliary turbine 22L while keeping the pressure of the discharged steam to be supplied to the reboiler 24 within a tolerance range of the reboiler's optimum pressure corresponding to fluctuations of the operation load of the boiler. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
