<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat transmission from a recording medium warmed up in a fixation process to a developer storing means for storing a developer. <P>SOLUTION: An air suction fan 51 and air outlets 52 are formed in an air suction duct 5; an air inlet 61 and an air discharge fan 62 are disposed in an air discharge duct 6; the air flowing out of the air outlets 52 of the air suction duct 5 flows along an air flow path, obliquely crossing above the developer containers 108 in order of the developer containers 108K, 108C, 108M and 108Y, in this order; then, the air is discharged outside the housing 4 through the air discharge duct 6.
