<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient moving assisting device having at least one regulatable lateral-directional grip, to support each specified operation such as coming-in and going-out into/from a bed of the patient, in a hospital bed. <P>SOLUTION: This patient moving assisting device 25 includes a long support horizontal member 27 oriented along a width of the bed. The horizontal member 27 stores at least one arm 29 coupled with the regulatable lateral-directional grip 31.
