<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet measuring device capable of appropriately and easily utilizing information on ultraviolet rays in daily life. <P>SOLUTION: Measurement information of a first ultraviolet sensor section 16 having sensitivity at a UV-A region and that of a second ultraviolet sensor section 18, having sensitivity at a UV-B region is processed by a control section 40. Measurement information of the second ultraviolet sensor section is subtracted from that of the first ultraviolet sensor section, to obtain UV-A information. The first ultraviolet sensor section is covered with a glass cover 34 and the second ultraviolet sensor section is covered with a quartz cover 38, to output UV-A information and UV-B information, respectively. When the UV-B information is absolutely or relatively small, the measurement is determined as being a measurement via glass for correction, thus estimating the outdoor measurement values. The presence or the absence of the incidence of a direct light to the ultraviolet sensor section is determined, according to output of a solar cell. The ultraviolet sensor section and visible light sensor section are directed upward and a display section is directed to a face. A mirror of a cosmetic compact 1 is set to be a reflection type LED display and information on ultraviolet rays is displayed automatically for a short time, when the compact is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
