<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burning material which can be supplied in sufficient quantities while contributing to environmental protection and can be used by a consumer without causing a feeling of strangeness. <P>SOLUTION: The burning material is so constituted that it can be used when at least one of a welcome bonfire or a farewell bonfire is made as an event of the Bon festival. A pattern G1 of the bark of Betulaceae is printed on one surface 2a of a sheet body of burnable paper. In this case, irregularities can be formed on at least one surface (surface 2a) of the sheet body.
