<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner facilitating collection of air borne dust in ambient air with an inexpensive constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes a suction gear for sucking dust (not shown), a cleaner body having an electric blower 2 communicating with the suction gear and for generating suction current and a dust collection chamber 5 for collecting the dust and an air exit 34 provided on the rear of the body and for discharging exhaust of the blower 2. The exit 34 includes a plurality of perforations having an opening area of 0.03-0.1 mm<SP>2</SP>respectively, regulating an exhaust current direction upward over the body and having the sum of the exhaust area of at least 4,000 mm<SP>2</SP>. The exhaust current that is discharged from the exist 34, having a velocity that a user moderately feels to some degree, makes air inside a room generate a circulating current that circulates from close proximity to the cleaner to a ceiling and along a wall of the room to descend to a floor, thereby allowing the air borne house dust or the like inside the room to be efficiently sucked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
