PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition which exhibits excellent grease performance and is excellent in resistance to high temperature, load resistance, mechanical stability and flame retardancy. SOLUTION: Fluorinated calcium phosphate is added to a base oil of mineral oil and/or synthetic oil to impart a thickening effect to the base oil. The fluorinated calcium phosphate of about 1-60 mass% of the total mass of the lubricant composition is used. The lubricant composition thus obtained has grease performance and excellent extreme pressure properties and mechanical stability, can perform a satisfactorily lubricating function even under a high-temperature condition and is excellent even in flame retardancy.
