PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular body which has more favorable wear resistance than the tubular body in which a fluororesin is not unevenly distributed in an outer circumferential surface of a base body but is distributed into the base body. SOLUTION: A single layer of the tubular body includes a polyimide resin and a fluororesin and the fluororesin is unevenly distributed in a surface layer at the outer circumferential surface of the tubular body. A fluorine atom content is 40 to 60 atom% when the outer circumferential surface of the tubular body is measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. A method for manufacturing the tubular body comprises a coating film forming step for forming a coating film by applying a polyamide acid solution to a core body, a drying step for drying the coating film to form a film, a contacting step for bringing a film surface into contact with the fluororesin, a heating step for heating the film with which the fluororesin has come into contact and a peeling step for peeling the fluororesin from the heated film.
