PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems as follows, with respect to download broadcast: different contents cannot be provided in accordance with locations, users' preference, etc.; contents requiring a certain freshness cannot be handled; contents distributed once cannot be changed even if a content producer determines that the contents are required to be changed. SOLUTION: A broadcast receiver includes: a reception part for receiving a download broadcast signal; a separation part for separating video/audio data and download content information from the download broadcast signal; a content storing part for storing video/audio data; a content information-storing part for storing download content information; a content reproduction control part for designating a content to be reproduced, on the basis of playlist information included in the download content information and reproducing the content; and a communication part for accessing a URL included in the playlist information.
