PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braided wire toroidal coil and a manufacturing method thereof which can reduce the effect and proximity effect between lines at high frequencies, and can suppress increase in loss of copper at a high frequency. SOLUTION: The braided wire toroidal coil includes an annular core (2) and a toroidal coil (1) in which a braided wire whose element wire surface is insulating-coated is toroidal-wound on the annular core (2). At least at the inner periphery side of the toroidal coil (1), the braided wire is made into a flat shape, and is made so as to become an edgewise winding. The adjacent coils of the toroidal coil (1) are mutually adhered or fusion-bonded at least in the inner periphery side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
