PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an adhesive for adhering a window material (2a) to a cap (1) from oozing out to a light transmission section of the window material (2a), and to reduce costs for surface modification treatment for improving adhesiveness. SOLUTION: In the sensor cap, the head section of the cap (1) heated to not less than the temperature where the polyolefin resin of the window material is softened is pressed against the window material before providing a level difference section (2b), thus forming the level difference section (2b) and performing surface modification treatment for improving adhesiveness, and hence greatly reducing a gap between an opening (1a) of the cap (1) and the level difference section (2b) of the window material (2a) and preventing the adhesive from oozing out to the light transmission section of the window material (2a). For example, it becomes unnecessary to perform separate surface modification treatment work, such as plasma treatment, thus reducing apparatus costs and work costs. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
