PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank mounted on a construction machine, which has a simple structure and can ensure effective fuel without being affected by an operating state of a vehicle even when the fuel runs low and remains unevenly in the fuel tank. SOLUTION: The fuel tank includes a baffle plates 5 and 6 for dividing an inner part of the fuel tank 1 into a fuel storage chamber 10 and fuel distributing chambers 9 and 11, a fuel outlet port 7 opened on the bottom part of the fuel storage chamber 10 and an opening and closing mechanism 20 provided in the baffle plates 5 and 6 to permit the fuel to flow to the fuel storage chamber 10 side from the fuel distributing chamber 9 and 11 side and restrain the fuel from flowing to the fuel distributing chamber 9 and 11 side from the fuel storage chamber 10 side.
