PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft tire to be manufactured inexpensively, having excellent durability, traveling on a soft ground such as a lawn surface without making a rut. SOLUTION: In the soft tire, recesses and protrusions are formed substantially on the whole surface of the outer peripheral surface of a metallic wheel, and a thick elastic layer made of foam is fixedly attached thereon. The recesses and protrusions are formed by presenting a striped pattern of a checkered steel plate on the outer peripheral surface of the metallic wheel, or fixedly attaching a metal net or a synthetic resin net on the outer peripheral surface of the wheel.
