PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the blowing resistance by simplifying the structure of its blowing passage. SOLUTION: A dust collector 20 has a dust collecting case 21 on which a connecting end 41 is formed, a filter 23 which is attached in the dust collecting case 21, and a lid body 24 which closes an opening formed on the upper face of the dust collecting case 21 and has an exhaust outlet 44 through which the air passing through the filter 23 passes. On the vacuum cleaner body 1, a connecting end 10 to which the connecting end 41 of the dust collecting case 21 is connected when the dust collector 20 is attached and a sucking inlet 11 to which the exhaust outlet 44 of the lid body 24 are formed. In the vacuum cleaner body 1, a dust sucking passage 12 from a sucking inlet 4 formed in front of the vacuum cleaner body 1 to the connecting end 10 is formed as well as a sucking passage 15 from sucking inlet 11 to an electric blower 6. The dust collector 20 is attached so that the lid body 24 is slanted in the upper back direction when the dust collector 20 is attached to the vacuum cleaner body 1.
