PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter allowing good maintenance of the front and rear balance of a car body even when the maximum reserve seedlings are carried on both a seedling feeder and a reserve seedling-carrying platform in the transplanter provided with the seedling feeder in the front and rear directions for allowing slide feeding of the reserve seedlings from the front of a traveling machine body to the side of the traveling machine body and the shelf-like reserve seedling-carrying platform for carrying the reserve seedlings. SOLUTION: The transplanter includes: the traveling machine body 3, a planting implement 6 liftably and lowerably connected to the rear of the traveling machine body 3, the seedling feeder 7 in the front and rear directions for allowing the slide feeding of the reserve seedlings from the front of the traveling machine body 3 to the side of the traveling machine body 3, and the shelf-like reserve seedling-carrying platform 8 for carrying the reserve seedlings. Furthermore, the transplanter allows feeding of the seedlings from the seedling feeder 7 or reserve seedling-carrying platform 8 to the side of the planting implement 6. In the transplanter, the seeding feeder 7 and reserve seedling-carrying platform 8 are provided on at least one side of both the right and left sides of the traveling machine body 3, the seedling feeder 7 is disposed on the front side, and the reserve seedling-carrying platform 8 is disposed on the rear side.
