摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of effectively using the dynamic range of an A/D convertor, resulting in proper tomographic images. SOLUTION: In the imaging device, light from a light source is divided into measuring light and reference light, the intensity of interference light between return light returning from an inspected object, upon irradiating the inspected object with the measuring light and the reference light is converted into an analog electrical signal per wavelength by a photoelectric conversion means; the analogue electrical signal is converted into a digital electrical signal by an A/D conversion means, and a tomographic image of the inspected object is taken, based on the digital electrical signal per wavelength. The imaging device includes an interception means for intercepting the returning light led to the photoelectric conversion means, and an adjustment means adjusting a value of the analogue electrical signal per wavelength or an input range of the A/D conversion means per wavelength so that the digital electrical signal per wavelength obtained, under the condition of intercepting the return light coming to the central part of the input range of the A/D conversion means.
