PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time when a cooking person holds a cooked object by hands, and to enable movement between a top plate and a grill pan of a heating cooker almost only by horizontal movement without operation by bending at the waist. SOLUTION: This grill unit includes: an approximately box-shaped grill chamber 11 having an opening at the front face side and mounted with fixation guide rails 114 in a lower part on an inner face of both sidewalls; a grill door 21 for opening and closing the opening 12 of the grill chamber 11; sliding rails 123 slidably supported by the fixation guide rails 114; a placement frame 131 for placing the grill pan; pull-up arms 132 each having one end rotatably journaled to the sliding rail 123 and the other end fixed to the side face of the placement frame 131; and springs 133 each having one end connected to the substantial center of the pull-up arm 132 and the other end connected to the sliding rail 123 and having an energizing force in the expansion direction. When the grill door 21 is moved forward to open the opening 12 of the grill chamber 11, the pull-up arms 132 are cooperated with the springs 133 to lift the placement frame 131.
