<p>A portable container which can be easily maintained and can quickly and efficiently supply drinking water. The portable container comprises a container body placed on a floor surface and also comprises a case-like drawer drawn, in a state in which the drawer is housed in the container body, out of an opening of the container body through a guide means which includes rollers or through a drawing means which includes a power conversion mechanism and having left and right side walls at least one of which is open. A water purification processing device for purifying raw water to obtain drinking water is provided on the upper surface of a sliding floor plate of the drawer. A support member projecting from the lower surface of the sliding floor surface, engaging the ground, and substantially horizontally supporting the drawer relative to the container body is mounted to the lower part of a front wall of the drawer. Also, the water purification processing device includes a pre-processing system using a flocculating agent before a reverse osmosis membrane processes the raw water.</p> |
