<p>A method for auditioning coloring ring back tones (CRBT) includes: a terminal sends a CRBT audition request to a server (401); the terminal receives a CRBT data stream sent by the server, and generates a CRBT audition file in the memory by utilizing a CRBT parsing plug-in (406), in which the CRBT data stream includes a mark bit for requiring the use of said CRBT parsing plug-in to perform parsing, and the CRBT parsing plug-in is used for extracting a CRBT audition file according a protocol designated by the server; and the terminal plays the CRBT audition file in the memory (409). Another method, a terminal and a server for auditioning CRBT are also provided. The CRBT data stream is parsed in the memory of the terminal and the audition file is generated in the memory, the audition file in the memory is directly played and the ring has not to be stored in a local temporary directory of the terminal, therefore, the user can not acquire the ring file by means of searching in the local temporary directory, and the copyright of the ring is thus protected effectively.</p> |
