The device has a tank (10) receiving freezable reducing agent (16), where a heater (22) of a conveyor module (30) and/or the tank is formed by an electrical contacting. The electrical contacting is embedded as an uncoated metallic conductor or as metal tongue into a plastic material with positive temperature coefficient (PTC) characteristics. The electrical contacting is sealed outward by single wire sealing. A passage channel is enclosed by a casing that is made of plastic material, where the reducing agent is aqueous urea solution.
