<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of maintaining a designated water treatment function in a simple and compact structure and attaining improvement of durability and extension of a maintenance period. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 10 includes a fuel cell module 12, a water supply device 14 for supplying water to the fuel cell module 12, a water container 16 for supplying the water to the water supply device 14, and a condenser 18 for condensing water vapor in an exhaust gas discharged from the fuel cell module 12 and supplying the condensed water to the water container 16. The water container 16 includes a supply port 22 wherein water is supplied from the condenser 18, a discharge port 24 for feeding water to the water supply device 14, and a meandering water passage 26 for circulating the water from the supply port 22 to the discharge port 24.
